Advanced Rules setup
Right click the Sygate firewall icon in your taskbar. Highlight and click on "Advanced Rules" and you will see the screen below. Click on the "add" button.

After clicking on the "Add" button, you will see the screen below.
#1. Click on "General" tab.
#2. Rule Description: Type in something to describe the rule as i did for "kill aol" in the above screen.
#3. Action: This is self explainatory.
#4. Advanced Settings: The drop down also displays all the isp's you have and have had. The setting below is fine.
#5. Rule Summary: This is an explaination of the rule you have put in.

#1. Click on the "Hosts tab" and you will see the next screen below.
#2. Apply this rule to: This will cover all url's for a site.
#3. IP addresses: If you have the numbers for a site you can type them in and block that site from getting into your computer. If you have the range, as seen grayed out, you can enter a combination of numbers to block all from that site.
#4. This is an explaination fo the rule you just put in.

#1.Click on the "Ports and Protocols" tab. You will see the screen below.
#2. Protocol: I set mine for "All", however the drop down has TCP, UDP, ICMP, IP Type, also.
#3. This, again, is an explaination of the rule you created.

Next click "Ok" and click "Ok" again to close out the Advanced Rules screen.
You have now setup a Sygate Firewall "Advanced Rule" to block something from getting in/out of your computer.
