Ccleaner Setup

Download:
http://www.ccleaner.com/ccdownload.asp
Click on "Other builds" as shown below and continue to the next screenshot.

After you click on "Other builds" you will see the screen below. Click on the "Slim" version and download it.

After you have downloaded the file, double click it and use the default settings during setup. When you get to the screen below, the choices are yours. Uncheck/check as you prefer, then click "install".

Bring up Ccleaner, click on the "Issues" tab and you will see the screen below.
WARNING: Unless your comfortable working with your registry, uncheck all!

Next, click on the "Windows" tab and you will see the screen below. These are good bench mark settings, but can adjust as you please.

Next, click on the "Applications" tab and you will see the screen below. You can setup this screen as you want. The "Tools" and "Options" icons on the left can be setup as you prefer by clicking on either icon and changing the settings. The default settings are ok.

If you want to save any cookies using Ccleaner before you run Ccleaner, this is how to do it.
Click on the "Options" icon, then click on "Cookies".

#1. On this screen the "Cookies" button will be lit up as you see.
#2. See the cookie named "cnn.com" ? It is in the screen to "Delete" cookies.
#3. See the cookie named "manageyourpc.com" ? that is in the screen to "Save" cookies.
Click on the cookie you want to keep and it is hilights in blue.
#4. Click on this button and this transfers the cookie you choose to keep, over to the side of "Cookies to keep" and Ccleaner will not delete that cookie.
#5. If you want to delete a cookie, then click on the cookie name so it hilites in blue, then click on the button and the cookie you hilighted will be transfered over to the "Delete cookies" side.
Now when you run Ccleaner those cookies/cookie will be deleted.
#6. Click on the "Cleaner" icon and you will go back to the main screen

Alright, now click on "Run Cleaner" at the bottom right. When done and it may take a long time the first time you run ccleaner, take a look at the amount of crap that ccleaner has cleaned up. The number of mega bytes (mb) cleaned up is in the upper left of the "white" screen. You can click on the "Analyze" button before you click on the "Run Cleaner" button if you wish. It will tell you how much it will cleanup, approx. One more thing, as a rule, i run Ccleaner every time i start up or reboot my pc, go off line, and after uninstalling any software. To run Ccleaner after setup, just bring up Ccleaner and click "Run Cleaner", then after its done cleaning click close.
Enjoy
