Ntregopt
Note: Create a restore point or backup the registry before using because here is no backup included in this soft. Just a precautionary note.
This is curtiousey of "The Phantom Phixer":
To backup registry:
1) Go To Start/Run/type regedit / Click ok
2) Select Registry/Export Registry File
3) Navigate to C: and name the backup. I name the reg backup reg and the date (reg2001Jul10)
Double click the Ntregopt-setup.exe file and this screen will come up. click "Ok".
Next is this screen.
Click "Next".
On this screen you can choose the default folder or choose your own by clicking the "Browse" button. Click "Next" when you have made you choice.
On this screen you can choose the default Start Menu Folder or choose your own by clicking the "Browse" button. Click "Next" when you have made your choice.
On this screen you can check what you prefer, then click the "Next" button.
On this screen you can change what you want if you want, then click "Install".
After Ntregopt is installed this screen will come up. Check/Uncheck as you want then click the "Finish" button.
When you want to use Ntregopt you double click your desktop icon or from the Start Menu bring up Ntregopt and you will see the screen below. Click "Ok" to continue,
This is Ntregopt working. Let it run untill its done.
When Ntregopt is finished you will see this screen. you must restart/reboot your pc so click "Yes" and your registry will be optimized during restart/reboot.
